Green Bitcoin is a thing

Comment: wow this is an odd one. I’m not actively purchasing Bitcoin but if I was I most certainly wouldn’t try to find a green producer for one simple reason — the chance of fraud is far, far too high. How could I vet the miner’s electricity was indeed renewable? That’s right, I couldn’t. This reminds me of the fraud-friendly carbon credit markets.
