Comment: During my Investment Banking career I worked with Regulatory Agencies. Finessing with them is an art form, and if you ain’t done it before you can’t do it. Sounds, like both these firms played the game, didn’t realise there is always an undercurrent of dialog with The SEC, one they didn’t know existed.
