Who said Bitcoin was anonymous?

Certainly nobody who has a clue about how Bitcoin works thinks it is anonymous. The FBI certainly knows how Bitcoin works, and they had no trouble tracking this money laundering rapper down. About a two-minute read.

Comment: gee, not to give anyone ideas but if you really need anonymity might want to look at Monero or ZCash. Or several other alternatives. Even cash is better than Bitcoin in this regard. Cash transactions can be anonymous. Not so for Bitcoin.
