fascinating report from CBI examining how Fintechs are chipping away at Bank of America’s business. Summary is about a five minute read, link to CBI’s deep dive — a 45 page report — will clearly be a long form exercise.

Comment: an excellent report which manages to avoid the usual “disruption” hype. Correctly views the activities of Fintechs as opportunistically engaging select business sectors. Its a pretty evenly balanced report which contradicts the all too common view of “fintech taking over the world”. Be aware you’re trading deets for the report, but CBI’s stuff is generally top notch, very high quality for its breadth and depth.
