BNB Hacked for $568M
via the BSC Token Hub bridge. About a two minute read.
Comment: another coin hacked by exploiting a bridge. Amazing people still use those, but I guess I’m wired differently: every Friday I buy Bitcoin. I hold Bitcoin. I never trade Bitcoin. One of the key reasons people uses Cryptobridges is to support trading e.g., buy Tether, Bridge to ALT-COIN-NAME, trade ALT-COIN-NAME, then bridge back to Tether. Trading is inherently risky, and we know bridging is as well.
