The Bahamas launches a digital currency

Called “The Sand Dollar”, its fully intended to be a digital version of the Bahamian dollar. Announced last week on Twitter. Sand Dollar FAQ is about a two minute read.

Comment: the announcement is light on details so I’ve contacted The Central Bank, will report back. We need to know what Blockchain its running on, for starters. Also curious if this is a Stablecoin or not?
