Comment: having been involved with AI since the mid 1980s (I programmed Expert Systems at AT&T Bell Labs before moving to Wall Street in 1987) I’ve got the broad perspective. Yes, lots of the claims are overhyped, and like the slowdown / contraction we’re now seeing with Big Data, its likely investment into AI will start to slow in the next three years.
