JP Morgan to pilot biometrics
with retailers in The US, according to FinExtra. About a one minute read.
Comment: Amazon has been in this space for a while now, but for some reason we don’t hear a lot about their experience. From my point of view, biometrics is a natural, although I suspect there will be resistance from users to overcome in the near term. Keep in mind they aren’t storing your palm print, rather a hash, so reproduction just isn’t possible. The company I use for my safety deposit boxes uses biometrics (as well as pins and facial id); good stuff.
