Comment: this turned out pretty much as I’d predicted. The technology side of most Fintech’s is pretty simple, and during due diligence banks could see just easy it would be to replicate. And so they did. Why buy when you can build? Better integration into legacy, better framework for expanding, just a better solution all around.
