Your bank doesn’t know you use a mobile app
according to Forbes some 76% of smartphone owners use alternative mobile apps to manage their money, but their bank doesn’t know. About a two minute read.
Comment: yes, this is one of those breathtakingly obvious points, in retrospect. How does your bank know and how could they track? In my own experience, I’ve been using Wise (previously known as Transferwise) to move money globally for about six years now. Wire transformers just cost too much and took too long. My bank may know as some payments hit my account, but they don’t seem to care. Which means they haven’t really noticed. And they’ve lost my money transfer business forever. I’m not alone.
