Two Paytech giants cuddle up

In yet another sign the Fintech industry is maturing, two giant — and well established players are partnering to extend their reach. Transferwise and Alibay, with 7M and 1.2B customers respectively, will now facilitate payments globally and, especially, into the burgeoning Chinese market. About a two-minute read.

Comment: this is one partnership that I bet will result in an outright acquisition. Privately held Transferwise is just too darn good a business for a gian like Alipay to pass up.
