Comment: we called the surge of funding into Fintech a bubble well over two years ago, and noted Regtech was seemingly not impacted. It gets down to the dynamics; anyone can start a Fintech company today, source retail customers and have a running enterprise a week later. Regtech is very, very different, as the customer are banks and other financial institutions, and information held by Regtechs is far more sensitive. Barriers to entry into Regtech is much, much higher, so we never saw a bubble in this speciality.
