IBM: banks must move to the cloud

Bloomberg’s The Year Ahead brings us a brief advisory from IBM about banks and The Cloud. Exactly a one minute, twenty second video.

Comment: although this will be obvious to most, I’m still amazed when discussing infrastructure or applications with friends still in banking, how much of their footprint remains in data centres. Some of these institutions behave as almost as though its still 1990.
