Fintechs and Financial Inclusion

according to Fintech News, who cite a study by the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP), whose research suggests Fintechs are better at offering Financial Inclusion than traditional financial services firms. About four minute read, link in article for the deep-dive.

Comment: gosh sorry, but I do think this is sorta obvious for one simple reason: almost all Fintechs I know of offer app or web based signups, and often with little to no KYC (yes, no KYC). Now the regulatory edge Fintechs have enjoyed is slowly being removed, but in general it is far easier to open an account at many Fintechs than it is at a traditional financial institution.
