China’s Digital Yuan and Bitcoin

Bloomberg suggests the Digital Yuan, when launched, will be net negative for Bitcoin. About a one minute read.

Comment: I’m not convinced. First of all, as Bitcoin has surged in value negative articles seem to have increased in frequency. Second, Bitcoin is global, and once a digital Yuan launches we will still see demand for the crypto outside of — as well as inside of — China. This latest piece by Bloomberg seems to be coordinated.
